Methodology: The thesis is based on abductive perspective where empirical and theoretical material has been mixed to create a foundation for the analysis. Theoretical perspectives: Theories concerning knowledge management and research and development have primarily been used. These have been complemented with material about team structures and incentive systems. Empirical foundation: The empirical material is based on semi structured, mostly qualitative interviews and strictly quantitative inquiries performed at Industrial Hose within The Trelleborg Group.

Trelleborg Rubore AB utvecklar, tillverkar och säljer laminerade material för olika industriella applikationer, framförallt till bilindustrin.Examensarbetet är gjort i samarbete med Trelleborg Rubore AB där de vill göra förändringar på sin slittlina. Genom analys ska det ges möjlighet att förbättra ergonomin samt förbättra produktionen.Den långa ställtiden i jämförelse med körtiden samtidigt som nästan allt material går igenom lina 3 skapar ett problem för Rubore AB. Genom att analysera dagens läge och hitta de största problemen med lina 3 kan ett antal alternativ föras fram som ger svar på målet och syftet med arbetet..

De senaste årens kulturarvsdiskussioner har präglats av sambandet mellan kulturarv och regional utveckling. Utgångspunkten för denna uppsats är en upplevelseanläggning; den så kallade Trelleborgen i den sydskånska staden Trelleborg. Borgen är en rekonstruktion av en fjärdedels ringborg som man funnit spår av i samband med uppdragsutgrävningar under slutet av 1980-talet.Uppsatsen belyser ett exempel på kulturarvsproduktion, där stora resurser satsas i investeringsprojekt kopplade till kulturarv. Risken är dock överhängande att många av dessa projekt misslyckas till följd av aldrig införlivade kulturpolitiska visioner, eller som ett led i konkurrensen om turisterna..

An increasing number of automotive supplier companies are investing in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in order to gain cost advantages. This has happened in a rapid pace since many of these countries did not have any foreign direct investments (FDI) at the turn of the century. The problem now is for how long these countries will be able to maintain the low costs. One purpose was to create a model of country advantages for automotive supplier companies when relocating further production to CEE. This dissertation was written in cooperation with The Trelleborg Group.

Som främsta motiv till offshoringen angav de två företagen i studien kostnadseffektivisering. Båda företagen i studien, Bulls Tryckeri AB och Trelleborg Protective Products, uppvisar en medvetenhet kring en rad riskaspekter som kan vara, och är, närvarande vid offshoring av produktion. Respektive offshoringprojekt föregicks av en bedömning av både kvalitativa och kvantitativa aspekter relaterade till offshoringen. De två bedömningarna, om ej kompletta riskanalyser, uppvisar klara kopplingar till analysering av risk och dess eventuella konsekvenser. Både Bulls Tryckeri AB samt Trelleborg Protective Products arbetar aktivt med att reducera risk i sin offshoringrelation genom riskreduceringsstrategier såsom målkongruens, spackling och horizontal chunkification..

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att utröna hur events kan påverka boendeattraktionen till en stad och åskådliggöra andra påverkande faktorer. Metod: I vår uppsats har vi valt att använda oss av en kombination av kvalitativa intervjuer och en kvantitativ enkätundersökning. Vi utförde personliga semistrukturerade intervjuer med representanter från studieobjektet Trelleborgs kommun, medan enkätundersökningen genomfördes under två dagar i de centrala delarna av Trelleborg stad. Teoretiska perspektiv: Det huvudsakliga teoretiska perspektivet i vår uppsats utgörs av teorier kring Place marketing, Event marketing och Boendeattraktion. Dessa sammankopplas i en teoretisk referensram som ligger till grund för analysen.

Denna uppsats behandlar det kommunala utjämningssystemet. Dagens system består av en inkomstutjämningsdel, kostnadsutjämningsdel, ett strukturbidrag och en regleringspost, som antingen kan bli bidrag eller avgift beroende på hur mycket pengar staten anslår till systemet. Till detta har använts teorin om konkurrensproblemet, olika teorier om vad kommunerna bör göra, varför kommunerna bör finnas och hur de skall finansiera verksamheten. Två kommuner har valts ut, Vellinge och Trelleborg, för att i två fallstudier studera effekten av systemet för den enskilda kommunen. Slutsatsen är att i dagsläget behövs utjämningssystemet för annars träder konkurrensproblemet till.

Huvudsyftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva och analysera vilka interna hinder för organisk tillväxt som upplevs i mogna företag. Syftet var vidare att föreslå hur dessa hinder kan övervinnas. Uppsatsen gjordes utifrån en kvantitativ surveyundersökning med en Internetenkät. Undersökningen genomfördes bland 45 mellanchefer inom Industrial Hose, en affärsenhet inom Trelleborg AB. I teorikapitlet förklaras hur entreprenöriella och intraprenöriella aktiviteter gynnar företag som ämnar växa organiskt.

The aim of this qualitative study was to investigate the participants experiences of a parent support group and the effect of their participation on their parental role from a learning perspective. As the parent support group takes place as a group activity, the focus was on the individual learning processes which, in turn, are influenced by both the group itself as well as the leaders of the group. The empirical data was collected from a focus group interview with four mothers, and analyzed using empowerment and coping theories. Based on the participants´ narratives, the result showed that the parent support group had a great social and pedagogic effect on the participants. As a result of the received knowledge in the group from both leaders as well as from other participants, they felt less stressed and more confident in their parental role.

The purpose of this Master Thesis was to study the reader in the informal reading group. To fulfil our purpose we have used the following questions: how did the reader become a reader and what does her reading look like, why do people choose to participate in a reading group, how may the group influence the individual member in her reading and interpretation of a book, does the reading group have a therapeutic function, how does the informant find the group dynamics and different roles in the reading group, and finally how does the informant experience the discussion in the reading group. We have used two studies about reading groups, one by Elizabeth Long and one by Jenny Hartley. Our theory is divided into reading and group psychology. We have interviewed seven women belonging to different reading groups.

At first glance, the group CEO's (koncernchefens) legal position looks easy. It is the CEO?s responsibility to lead and make decisions on matters which affect the entire group, all while defending the company?s best interests. However, when one looks closely at how the Companies Act (Aktiebolagslagen) regulates how a company should organize itself, as well as the options available to manage the group, one rea-lizes that simply appointing a group CEO does not necessarily make the company compatible with the Companies Act. A group CEO threatens to reduce both the Board and CEO's legal administrative districts which are not in accordance with legal and commercial principles.In order to introduce a group CEO it requires a detailed investigation of the group's legal relationships.

This essay explores this question through the concept "group weariness". Group weariness is defined as a negative attitude towards working in groups based on previous experiences of the working form. The aim of this study is to explore the concept of group weariness through a quantitative study.
